In 1848, the 20th annual community festival, or "feria," of
Aguascalientes was moved to the "Jardin de San Marcos." During
this period, local artists were encouraged to create dances that reflected
the joy of the "feria" (festival), and the daily life and customs
of the people of Aguascalientes. "Las Bordadoras" refers to,
